PROJECT: Create on-air titles and unexpected, press-worthy promotions for the Animal Planet network.

SOLUTION: For these projects, I wanted to match Animal Planet’s love and compassion for animals with some equally exuberant promotional pieces. For Croc Week, I developed a companion lunchbox and thermos to accompany a custom comic book about the Croc Hunter, Steve Irwin. For the Be a Hero Charitable Campaign, I created a pet-collar awareness ribbon and calendar, visually linking the Hero programs with the urgency of supporting homeless pets. To invite celebrities and their dogs to a chic party, what better than a magnetic dress-up dog set? To generate excitement for Dog Week, I embraced man’s best friend with a program-themed newspaper, rolled up in a pair of slippers. And, for the wildly successful Puppy Bowl, I designed the bold football-and-dog-bone logo that’s endured for 13 years.
